Attorney Carmen J. Nocera is a 2015 graduate of Slippery Rock University and a 2019 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. He concentrates his practice in the areas of personal injury, civil litigation, family law, and criminal defense.
During his studies at the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, Mr. Nocera was a distinguished member of the mock trial team and was also the Chair of the Moot Court Board. Mr. Nocera received the Blackburn Memorial Faculty Award for his contributions to the Moot Court program. He also was awarded numerous CALI Excellence for the Future Awards for the highest grade in the class in Mock Trial Strategy and Planning, Mock Trial, Trial Advocacy, and Pre-Trial Pleadings and Discovery.
Upon graduating from law school, Mr. Nocera worked as a medical malpractice defense attorney at a large national law firm in Downtown Pittsburgh. He subsequently left the practice of representing insurance companies to represent the people who are mistreated by them.
Mr. Nocera gives back to the community by coaching mock trials at the University of Pittsburgh School of Law.
